We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Finance Manager to take full ownership of our finance function as we scale internationally. You’ll be the go-to finance leader, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with cross-functional teams, investors, and advisors. What You’ll Do
- Lead all aspects of Boolanga’s finance function – accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, compliance, and reporting
- Build and scale a high-performing finance team across continents
- Design and manage a robust financial control framework for our international subsidiaries and operations
- Drive financial reporting and deliver actionable insights for leadership and investors
- Partner with commercial, operations, and tech teams to model business cases and guide strategic decisions
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and liquidity management
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and group-level cash management across jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance across legal and tax frameworks; serve as the main contact for auditors and tax advisors
- Develop and optimize transfer pricing, intercompany agreements, and cost allocation models
- Define and implement finance systems, tools, and processes that enable automation and scalability
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of finance experience (at a scale-up, startup, or high-growth company)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (Hungarian Accounting Principles is a plus)
- Fluency in English and Hungarian
- Experience leading finance teams across international entities is a plus
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, business planning, and KPI management
- Comfortable with product-based, service-oriented, and SaaS business models
- Familiarity with transfer pricing, tax structuring, and intercompany operations is a plus
- Analytical, systems-oriented mindset with a bias for improvement and efficiency
- Bonus: Proficiency with tools like Xero, Ramp, Runway, Microsoft Dynamics
