Boolanga is looking for a strategically minded and hands-on Senior Finance Manager to join our expanding team. As our lead finance professional, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our financial strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring financial compliance across our global footprint. You’ll play a key role in supporting our expansion and growth while building a scalable finance function.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead all aspects of Boolanga’s finance function, including accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, compliance, and reporting
- Design and manage a group-wide financial control framework, including international subsidiaries and operating entities
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve the KPI system across supply chain services and software segments
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to the Managing Director and senior leadership
- Partner with commercial, operations, and tech teams to model business cases and support strategic decision-making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and liquidity management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable across a multi-country group structure
- Ensure legal and tax compliance across jurisdictions; act as the key point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
- Develop and oversee transfer pricing, intercompany agreements, and cost allocations
- Hire, manage, and mentor a high-performing finance team; define the roadmap for scaling the function
- Contribute to defining systems, tools, and processes that enable automation and reporting at scale

Skills & Requirements
- Some experience in finance leadership roles, preferably at a startup, scale-up, or fast-growth international environment
- Strong knowledge of IFRS is required; understanding of Hungarian Accounting Principles (HAS) is a plus
- Fluency in English and in Hungarian is required;
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, business planning, and supporting commercial and operational teams
- Experience managing finances in both product-driven and service/SaaS business models
- Experience leading finance across multiple legal entities and geographies
- Familiarity with transfer pricing, intercompany operations, and tax structuring is a plus
- Strong analytical and systems-oriented mindset, with a bias for execution and continuous improvement
- Track record of building and leading finance teams
- Willingness to work from our Budapest office at least 3 days a week
